Junior Graphic Designer Job
PayerFusion seeks a creative Junior Graphic Designer with experience in both print and electronic media. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.
Junior graphic designer will be ready to develop their existing skills by working with senior creative staff on a range of ambitious and innovative projects. Responsible for helping to drive the creative direction of campaigns. Typography, layout, animation and art direction will be needed to help the team produce the best work possible.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of graphic design experience.
This is a part-time, on-site position.
This Position Is For You If
You are a college student studying in Graphic Design or experience in related field.
You are skilled in page layout and design.
You are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programs including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator for development of print production.
You are highly organized and dependable; able to multitask, work quickly and juggle multiple projects with varying deadlines.
You are a self-starter and able to work independently.
You have a portfolio of sample work to provide for review.
Job Duties Include And Are Not Limited To
Responsible for design and layout of catalog, print advertisements and marketing collateral
Prepare print ready files for production
Create infographics or content for social media marketing
Manage in-house photo library
Optimize images for the web
Skills Required
Junior graphic designer position needs a wide range of design and creative capabilities.
These include: Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mock ups, web design and multimedia presentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adeptness with leading design software packages
The ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
The ability to see projects through from inception to production
Consistency regardless of project size
Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
