Job Description:
As a Freelance Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating engaging and dynamic content to enhance our brand presence and drive audience engagement. You will produce 2-3 posts per week, focusing on a blend of brand promotions and topical content aligned with current social media trends. You'll collaborate with our team for guidance on about 25% of the posts, while the remaining content will be independently developed by you, leveraging your creativity and knowledge of social media trends, pop culture, and our brand's attributes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and schedule 2-3 engaging posts per week for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with our team to execute posts focused on brand promotions (approximately 25% of content).
- Conceptualize and create additional content that integrates social media trends, topical subjects, and key brand characteristics.
- Utilize video editing skills to produce high-quality videos that resonate with our target audience.
- Stay updated with pop culture, social media trends, and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize social media performance.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating content, especially videos, for social media platforms.
- Strong video editing skills and a creative eye for producing compelling visual content.
- In-depth knowledge of pop culture and current social media trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive and innovative mindset with a strong understanding of how to engage audiences on different social media platforms.
- Must be based in the Nashville area.
