Freelance Content Creator – Monthly Retainer

7Q Spa Laser & Aesthetics is looking for a creative, reliable, and marketing-minded Freelance Content Creator to support our social media presence on a monthly basis. We are looking for someone who understands elevated beauty and aesthetics content, but can also think strategically—bringing us fresh concepts, educational topics, trends, strong hooks, and content ideas rather than simply showing up to film.
This is a $1,400 flat monthly retainer consisting of one in-person Content Day per month plus ongoing editing support throughout the month.
1. MONTHLY CONTENT DAY — $1,000
One in-person shoot per month, up to 6 hours
The creator will work with our team to plan and produce approximately 6–8 polished, educational and marketing-forward short-form videos each month.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing content concepts, topics, hooks, and creative direction a week prior to each shoot
- Staying current on social media trends and translating relevant trends into content that fits the 7Q brand
- Creating a mix of educational, treatment-focused, brand, provider, and marketing-forward content
- Providing a clear shot/content, script plan before Content Day - unique ideas and strategies, not just copying trendy tiktoks
- Directing our providers and team during filming to keep content natural, engaging, and efficient
- Filming high-quality vertical content optimized for Instagram Reels and other short-form platforms
- Editing the selected content into polished, ready-to-post videos
- Adding appropriate text, captions, transitions, music, graphics, and other creative elements when needed
- Delivering completed Content Day videos within two weeks of filming
We want someone who comes prepared with ideas and understands why a piece of content will perform, not simply someone who operates a camera.
2. ONGOING MONTHLY EDITING — $400
Throughout the month, our team will send additional existing footage, photos, before-and-after results, or other assets that need to be turned into social content.
This will generally include approximately 5–10 additional edits per month, based on our needs and the complexity of the requests. This is intended to be a flexible monthly editing allowance rather than a strict deliverable count.
Examples may include:
- Editing existing footage into short-form Reels
- Before-and-after template/ we have a template that needs to be replicated
- Treatment/result showcases
- Trending audio edits
- Photo-based Reels or carousels
- Simple promotional or educational graphics
- Repurposing existing 7Q content into new social assets
These requests will be sent throughout the month as needed and should have a reasonable turnaround based on the scope of the edit.
COMPENSATION
$1,400 flat monthly retainer
$1,000 — Monthly Content Day, filming, creative direction & editing
$400 — Ongoing monthly editing support
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal creator has a strong eye for luxury beauty, aesthetics, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle content and understands how to create social media that feels current without looking overly trendy or generic.
Experience with medspa or aesthetics content is highly preferred. You should be comfortable taking creative ownership, pitching ideas, directing people on camera, and maintaining a consistent visual identity.
