SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Halcyon Haus Creative · Atlanta, GA · Contract-to-Full-Time

Compensation: $60,000-70,000 DOE

Halcyon Haus Creative is a Los Angeles-based social media and digital strategy agency representing high-visibility talent across entertainment, music and culture. We are growing fast and looking for the right person to grow with us.

This is a direct seat alongside the founder. You will own client accounts, lead creative execution and have real visibility into how talent is built in the digital space. If you want ownership, responsibility and a front-row seat to something with momentum, this is the role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own assigned social media profiles end-to-end: strategy, content, scheduling, publishing and performance optimization

- Run daily communications with clients and their teams, managing full social calendars across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms

- Build and own the full social calendar for each client: strategically plan content weeks in advance, map posts to releases, events, partnerships, promos and key cultural moments, while managing approvals and deadlines to ensure nothing slips.

- Lead content capture shoots with confidence: directing clients, seizing moments and ensuring no opportunity gets left on the table

- Edit high-performing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for engagement, retention and platform algorithms

- Track cultural trends, pitch creative concepts and shape weekly content strategy aligned with client positioning and long-term narrative

- Manage paid brand partnerships and platform deliverables with precision

- Own analytics and reporting, translating performance data into clear strategic action

- Maintain digital asset management across Dropbox, WeTransfer and internal systems

- Serve as the primary point of contact for talent and their teams, including managers, labels and agents. That visibility requires presence, polish and the ability to lead a room.

WHAT YOU BRING

- 2+ years of verifiable, hands-on social media management experience; agency or talent-side experience is a strong plus

- A genuine pulse on culture, trends and what's actually working on social right now

- Strong content capture skills across photo and video with a refined, current aesthetic: and the confidence to direct talent on set and own the shoot

- Advanced short-form editing skills using CapCut, Lightroom, Canva, Edits or similar tools

- Deep understanding of platform algorithms, audience growth and engagement best practices across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube

- Proven ability to build and manage complex content calendars across multiple clients simultaneously, balancing creative ideation with hard deadlines for obligated posts, brand partnerships, releases and events

- Strategic fluency in content pillars, brand voice and narrative building

- The ability to juggle multiple clients, accounts and deadlines simultaneously without dropping the ball on details

- Exceptional organizational discipline. You manage your own deadlines and priorities without being chased. Tasks don't disappear: you close the loop and flag blockers early.

- A growth mindset and genuine receptiveness to feedback: from leadership, clients and collaborators. This is a high-feedback environment and that should feel like fuel, not friction.

- Confident, emotionally intelligent communication. You speak up on calls, take charge on set and can hold your own with talent, management and agents.

- A natural ability to read the room: with clients, energy, and the moment

BONUS POINTS

- Direct experience working with talent, influencers or high-visibility brands

- Long-form video editing experience (YouTube or podcast)

- Experience building strategic decks, performance reports or growth presentations

- Formal photography or videography training

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF

You care about the work. You know the difference between content that performs and content that connects. You understand that social media is both a creative and strategic discipline and you bring both.

You are not looking for a traditional 9-to-5. You want ownership, real responsibility and the chance to grow alongside a company gaining real momentum. You thrive in fast-moving, high-expectation environments and you do not need your hand held.

You are someone who follows through on everything. Not most things, everything. You ask questions when you need to, take feedback without ego and show up with enough presence and confidence that clients trust you from day one.

You show up, follow through and take pride in the standard of your work.
