About Christophe Fox
Christophe Fox is a mentalist and keynote speaker who performs for corporate clients including JP Morgan, Amazon, Toyota, and Wells Fargo. He has over one million social media followers and appears regularly on television shows across the country.
Most of what happens at these events never gets seen. The load-in, the green room, the conversation with the CEO after the show, the moment a room of 800 people breaks into a standing ovation. We want all of it on camera, shaped into content that shows event planners and entrepreneurs what this business actually looks like.
The Role
Mission: Turn every event into one YouTube vlog and 5 to 10 short-form clips that build Christophe's authority with event planners and entrepreneurs.
You are responsible for each event's content from idea to published post. Before the trip, you prepare questions and prompts for Christophe to talk about on camera. During the event, you travel with Christophe, film everything, and interview him while he works. That includes the travel, event setup, conversations with his clients and event attendees, and other impromptu moments. After the event, you cut the footage into short-form clips and longer vlogs, then post them to Christophe's official channels.
This is a project-based freelance role, booked per event. You are the sole editor on all event content. Your audience is two groups: event planners and entrepreneurs building a business around themselves. The heart of the content is Christophe talking about life, business, career, creativity, and other advice while he works. The content should be motivational and insightful, and should frame Christophe as an industry expert and business thought leader.
What You Must Deliver
These are the standards you're measured on.
- Question bank: Delivered 5 days before each event
- First clips: Submitted for approval within 72 hours of the event
- Vlog: Submitted for approval within 7 days of the event
- Edit quality: Every piece goes through 1 to 2 rounds of Christophe's notes before posting. Build that into your turnaround
- Reporting: Performance report 30 days after each event
- Availability: Confirm yes or no within 24 hours of every booking request
What You'll Do
Pre-production
- Track what's working across platforms, research competitors, and bring new formats to the table. Then pitch 3 to 5 content angles per event
- Build a question bank for each event: prompts that get Christophe talking about his career, the client, the room, and the lessons that carry over to anyone building something
On-site
- Travel to events with Christophe, typically 1 to 3 days per trip
- Run on-camera interviews before and after the show: in the car, backstage, at the hotel. Ask the question, then ask the follow-up that gets the real answer
- Film the full arc: travel, prep, backstage, the performance, audience reactions, and post-show moments
- Capture clean audio in loud, dark ballrooms and conference halls
- Work discreetly around corporate clients, security, and AV crews
- Get release forms signed and respect each client's filming restrictions. About half of events allow cameras in the room. On the rest, the story comes from travel, setup, the car, and the hotel, so plan for both. Christophe's family and personal life stay off camera
Post-production and posting
- Deliver 5 to 10 short-form clips per event for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Cut one 10 to 20 minute YouTube vlog per event
- Write captions, pick thumbnails, and schedule approved posts. Nothing goes live without Christophe's sign-off. Once a post is approved, you publish it directly from Christophe's accounts
- Track views, saves, follows, and inbound messages for every clip
What You Bring
Required
- A portfolio of vlog and short-form work you shot, edited, and published yourself
- 2+ years producing content for a creator, speaker, brand, or agency
- Your own camera, audio, and lighting kit, built for run-and-gun shooting
- Fluency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve, plus CapCut or similar for mobile edits
- Working knowledge of how each platform rewards hooks, pacing, and length
- Availability to fly on short notice, including weekends
- Comfort in corporate settings around executives and high-profile guests
Strong plus
- Based in Northern Virginia or the DC metro area, close to Dulles Airport
- Experience with speakers, entertainers, or thought-leadership channels
- Interview, podcast, or documentary experience
How You Work
- Curious. You ask the second and third question. The best clip is usually in the follow-up.
- Cool under pressure. Dead mics, lost bags, or difficult clients don't rattle you. You find the shot anyway.
- Detail-driven. Captions are spelled right, audio is clean, and sensitive information is censored.
- Proactive. You bring ideas before you're asked. If a format is working for someone else, bring it to the table.
- Reliable. This work is a priority, not a filler gig. When a major event lands on the calendar, you're there.
- Coachable. You take notes on a cut without defending it, and the next edit shows you heard them.
