Ongoing freelance contract
Combined role: $1,800–$3,000/month
Kain Media is looking for an experienced social media manager and content creator for a luxury custom homebuilder in the Vail Valley.
Our preference is to work with one person who can own the social media accounts and capture fresh photos and short-form video locally once or twice per month.
We’re also open to proposals from professionals who specialize in either social media management or local content capture. Those would be separate scopes with different budgets.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll work with beautiful homes, active construction projects and the people behind them. An existing photography library, brand guidance and planned monthly professional video shoots will provide a foundation for your work.
We’re looking for someone who can recognize a worthwhile story, choose compelling visuals, write naturally and deliver finished content independently.
SOCIAL MEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop ideas and manage the content calendar.
• Turn existing photos and footage into engaging carousels, Stories, Reels and other visual posts.
• Write specific, human captions.
• Stay informed about Vail Valley weather, events and happenings, choosing when local context adds value.
• Manage Instagram and Facebook publishing, adapt posts for LinkedIn, and publish Reels to YouTube Shorts.
• Monitor comments and messages, route inquiries and use performance insights to improve future content.
LOCAL CAPTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and conduct one or two agreed filming/photo visits per month.
• Capture project details, progress, team conversations and relevant local moments.
• Coordinate shot needs with the content calendar.
• Deliver organized assets, with editing responsibilities agreed in advance.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Strong visual judgment, confident writing, initiative and reliable execution. Experience with architecture, construction, interiors, homebuilding, hospitality or destination brands is a plus.
Local knowledge is strongly preferred. Applicants offering capture must be able to visit projects in the Vail Valley. Management-only applicants may work remotely if they can demonstrate strong local research and understanding.
We’re looking for independent professionals who personally perform the work within their proposed scope.
COMPENSATION
$1,800–$3,000/month for the combined management and capture role, depending on experience and agreed deliverables.
Management-only and capture-only proposals will be considered under separate budgets. Please quote your proposed scope, including any travel costs.
