Aspen Alley Creative (AAC) is a women-owned, mountain-born marketing collective based in Summit County, Colorado. We're a small, fast-moving team built on Grit + Glimmer: tenacious problem-solving paired with sophisticated storytelling. We're looking for a part-time Marketing Project Coordinator to keep client email and social channels running with consistency and care, and to bring order and follow-through to how projects move across our team.
Role Summary
This role blends two things: hands-on marketing execution (email and social) and the project coordination that keeps a small agency on schedule. You'll support AAC's partners across a portfolio of mountain-town clients in hospitality, lifestyle, and civic sectors, where seasonal timing (ski season, mud season, summer peak) shapes the calendar as much as strategy does. You'll also own the connective tissue: task tracking, deadlines, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between partners, contractors, and clients.

● Part-time contractor, approximately 10 to 20 hours/week to start

● Hybrid work schedule, with 2-3 days in office.
Who You'll Work With
You'll report to the AAC partners, with a designated point person per project. Your job is to keep client email and social channels running consistently and aligned with strategy, and to keep AAC's internal project work on track. Outcomes
This Role Owns Within the first 30 to 60 days, you will:
● Take over ownership of email calendars and sends for assigned clients
● Establish a consistent social posting cadence across client accounts, collaborating on strategy
● Stand up a reliable weekly project tracking rhythm in Asana across active client work
● Support better client reporting by helping document performance across email and social channels Key Responsibilities Email Marketing
● Build and schedule email campaigns, both monthly newsletters and event-specific target emails
● Manage the email calendar and audience segmentation
● Monitor open rates, click rates, and list health Social Media
● Schedule and publish posts across client accounts
● Source visual assets from client-provided libraries, AAC's photography library, or designer handoff, as coordinated per project (this role does not shoot or design original visuals)
● Light community management and monitoring; escalate any negative comments, reviews, or reputational issues to the point person immediately rather than responding solo
● Maintain content calendars per client Project Management
● Own task hygiene in Asana across active client projects: due dates, status updates, and clear handoffs between team members and contractors
● Track deadlines and proactively flag anything at risk of slipping
● Coordinate deliverables between contractors (design, copy, ads) and the partners, assigning realistic deadlines, respecting AAC's 48-hour asset notice window (rush fees apply inside 24 hours)
● Run or support light internal check-ins to keep projects moving without needing a partner in every conversation
● Maintain a lightweight record of what's in motion for each client, so status is always answerable at a glance Reporting
● Contribute to monthly client performance reports using AAC's standard report format
● Keep SOPs current as processes evolve
Tools You'll Use
● Email and CRM platforms used by AAC clients (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, and others per client)
● Asana (task/project coordination)
● Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail)
● Slack (internal communication)
● HoneyBook (for anything tied to client leads or contract threads)
What We're Looking For Must-Haves
● Hands-on experience with email and social execution, with proven success managing both
● Some project or task management experience, even informally (keeping a team or workflow organized and on schedule)
● Comfortable managing multiple clients and accounts at once
● Strong attention to detail, especially with deadlines and brand voice
● Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive client and business information
● Clear communicator (written and verbal) who asks smart questions, clarifies priorities, and takes initiative
● Local to Summit County or the surrounding area Nice-to-Haves
● Experience supporting a small agency, consultancy, or creative services business
● Familiarity with Asana or comparable project management tools
● Familiarity with contractor-heavy teams and multi-client workflows
Contractor Requirements
This is a 1099 contractor role. You'll invoice AAC for hours worked at the end of each month, and you'll sign AAC's contractor agreement, including confidentiality/IP terms and non-solicitation. Proof of professional liability insurance is recommended, and may be required depending on scope. Compensation
● Hourly contractor rate starting at $20/hour, DOE (dependent on experience and scope)

What This Role Is Not
To keep the scope clear, this role is not responsible for:
● Graphic design execution or original photography
● Paid ad management (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
● Copywriting strategy, blog writing, PR pitching, or marketing strategy ownership
● Being a partner or decision-maker; you support the partners by keeping channels and projects moving
