- Develop original graphics, visual elements, and illustrations to enhance email campaigns and refresh existing templates.
- Build and customize email templates using drag-and-drop email design platforms.
- Apply email design best practices, including visual hierarchy, responsive layouts, readability, and effective calls to action.
- Conduct email QA and testing to ensure consistent rendering across devices, browsers, and email clients.
- Identify and troubleshoot design, formatting, and rendering issues using basic HTML knowledge when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal designers, copywriters, and marketing stakeholders to deliver high-quality creative.
- Incorporate feedback, make design revisions, and adapt to changing campaign priorities and deadlines.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned projects from initial design through final QA.
Required Qualifications- 2-3+ years of professional design experience, with significant hands-on email marketing design experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality, consumer-facing email designs and digital marketing creative.
- Strong understanding of email design best practices, including responsive design, visual hierarchy, typography, and layout.
- Experience working with email templates and drag-and-drop email builders, or the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
- Basic HTML knowledge, including the ability to review email templates and troubleshoot minor formatting issues.
- Experience performing email QA, testing, and troubleshooting across different devices and email clients.
- Ability to independently develop creative concepts from high-level campaign briefs.
- Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable receiving constructive feedback, managing revisions, and adapting to shifting business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience creating custom illustrations, digital graphics, or unique visual assets for marketing campaigns.
- Experience designing B2C email campaigns for automotive, retail, lifestyle, outdoor, or consumer-facing brands.
- Familiarity with Knak or similar email template-building platforms.
- Experience with Figma.
- Familiarity with Ziflow or other creative review and approval tools.
- Exposure to Adobe Campaign or similar email marketing platforms.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a designer who brings creativity, initiative, and a strong eye for detail to every project. The ideal candidate is comfortable taking ownership of email designs, proposing original creative ideas, collaborating with stakeholders, and adjusting quickly as business needs evolve.
