POSITION: Marketing Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager develops and directs the marketing strategy for both Haus Aesthetic Management businesses: Haus on Main Medical Spa and Sinder Haus Day Spa. The role uses independent judgment to set content direction, campaign strategy, and channel priorities, and owns social media, paid social ads, email marketing, promotions and events, and online reviews. The role also manages the relationship with Studio III, the agency that manages the website, paid Google Ads, and market research.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, social media, agency, freelance, or graphic design work
- Preferred: marketing experience in healthcare; experience with digital photography
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Social media content creation and management
- Paid social ad campaign strategy and management
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations
- Experience with marketing analytics tools
- Experience with Boulevard or a comparable CRM and email marketing platform
- Working knowledge of SEO and PPC, sufficient to evaluate agency work
- Graphic design principles and tools
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop marketing strategies for each business, including target audiences, positioning, channel mix, and campaign priorities.
- Develop and recommend marketing budgets, campaign proposals, and vendor contracts to the leadership team.
- Evaluate campaign, channel, and agency performance, and recommend changes in strategy or budget allocation.
- Set the creative direction for each brand and plan, create, and publish a monthly social media content calendar for each business, including photography, video, and copy.
- Manage community engagement on social media, including comments and direct messages.
- Route clinical questions received on social media to the Medical Director.
- Design, run, and optimize paid social ad campaigns for both businesses, including targeting, creative, scheduling, and budget pacing.
- Monitor online reviews, including Google reviews, for both businesses.
- Plan, create, and send monthly B2C email and/or text campaigns through Boulevard, and evaluate the performance of each campaign.
- Define client segments and manage client marketing lists in Boulevard.
- Design and run in-house events, contests, and giveaways that build client loyalty and attract new clients.
- Identify external vendors for promotions and tie-ins, and recommend partnerships to leadership.
- Partner with ad agency for website changes, paid Google Ads, and market research, including writing briefs and reviewing deliverables.
- Analyze ad agency’s research findings and campaign results, and recommend actions to the Director of Operations.
- Deliver a monthly report to the Director of Operations that covers the performance measures in this description, with analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Submit all medical treatment content, including treatment descriptions, clinical claims, and before-and-after photos, to the Medical Director for clinical review.
- Obtain a signed HIPAA authorization from the patient before using any patient photo, testimonial, or likeness, in the patient’s Boulevard chart.
- Complete HIPAA training on an annual basis.
- Additional duties as assigned by the leadership team.
- The Marketing Manager is responsible for attending all events (in-house and off-site), and documenting events for use on social media; events may be scheduled after normal business hours and/or on the weekends.
Pay: $60,300.00 - $72,800.00 per year
