We are a growing brand with a strong presence in the golf community, and we're looking for a creative, motivated Social Media Coordinator to help tell the Makefield story, showcase our products, and connect with golfers across the count
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Social Media Coordinator who understands both golf and social media and knows how to turn great golf content into engaging stories.
This person will play an important role in growing Makefield's digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X. You'll have the opportunity to create content around our putters, fittings, customers, ambassadors, events, team members, and the golf community as a whole.
The ideal candidate is someone who is creative, organized, comfortable behind and in front of the camera, and genuinely passionate about golf. You should be able to recognize what makes content interesting to golfers and understand how to communicate the technical and performance benefits of a golf product in
an authentic way.
Responsibilities- Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content across platforms
- Develop content calendars aligned with product launches, promotions, and golf seasons/events
- Capture and edit photo/video content of products, on-course use, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Engage with our community — responding to comments, DMs, and mentions
- Monitor trends in golf and social media to keep content fresh and relevant
- Track engagement metrics and report on what's working
- Collaborate with the team on brand voice, promotions, and campaigns
Requirements- Must play and have a solid understanding of golf — including terminology, equipment (especially putters), and course etiquette
- Strong written communication skills and a good eye for what makes content engaging
- Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X) and their best practices
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage a content calendar
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)- Experience with photo/video editing (Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, CapCut, Canva, etc.)
- Photography experience, especially product or lifestyle/sports photography
- Experience growing a brand's social following or running paid social campaigns
- Golf industry connections or experience working with a golf brand
Details- Hours: 15-20 hours a week
- Compensation: $20/hr
- Start Date: Immediate
