We are looking for an experienced
Paid Media Manager (B2B SaaS) to join our Marketing team on a contractor basis and take end-to-end ownership of Basware's global paid media channels during a maternity cover period.
This is a hands-on, operationally focused role responsible for planning, executing and optimising paid media activity across LinkedIn and a wider mix of digital media partners and channels. The role will ensure activity is audience-led, aligned to Basware's Ideal Customer Profile and contributes to lead, MQL, pipeline and growth targets across 11 global markets.
You will manage campaigns throughout their full lifecycle, from briefing, audience development and creative production through to launch, budget management, optimisation and reporting. You will also manage relationships with external media vendors, coordinating proposals and local and regional needs, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, on brief and on budget.
The successful candidate will combine strong paid media expertise with excellent project management, copywriting and analytical skills. They must be comfortable working independently in the detail while collaborating across global Campaigns, Regional Marketing, Content, Brand, Marketing Operations and Sales.
They will take a proactive approach to using AI and emerging paid media technologies to improve the speed, efficiency and effectiveness of campaign delivery, creative development, optimisation and reporting, while keeping up to date with evolving platform capabilities and industry best practice.

- Use AI tools to accelerate campaign and creative refreshes, develop and test copy variations, support localisation and adapt messaging for different audiences and markets, while ensuring all outputs are reviewed for accuracy, quality and brand alignment.
- Support the development of local-language advertising, coordinating translation and in-market review where required.
- Reporting, Optimisation & Performance Insight

- Use first-party account, contact and intent data, supported by AI where appropriate, to build and refresh audience segments, prioritise in-market accounts, develop more segmented approaches and improve the effectiveness of media investment.
- Own monthly and quarterly paid media reporting for global campaign teams and regional stakeholders, translating campaign data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Continuously review paid media performance and identify opportunities to improve audience targeting, engagement, conversion and media efficiency, providing updates on risks and optimisation priorities.
- Use AI-assisted analysis and reporting to identify performance trends, anomalies, risks and optimisation opportunities more quickly, turning campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations rather than reporting numbers alone.
- Develop a structured testing plan covering new channels, campaign formats, audiences, creative approaches and messaging, and apply learnings consistently across campaigns and markets rather than treating tests as isolated activities.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external media vendors, publications and platform partners across the full campaign lifecycle, including proposal evaluation, briefing, creative delivery, tracking, execution and performance reporting.
- Manage the operational administration required for external media activity, including purchase orders, approvals, invoice coordination, vendor onboarding and campaign documentation.
- Partner closely with Global Campaigns, Regional Marketing, Proposition Marketing, Content, Brand, Marketing Operations, BDR and Sales teams to deliver a joined-up demand generation approach.
- Manage ad hoc regional and global requests, prioritising activity based on campaign objectives, available budget and expected impact, while communicating priorities, dependencies and next steps clearly.
