Marketing Consultant / Innovation Manager
This remote contract role supports the go-to-market execution and evidence strategy for a digital surgical platform. Candidates located near a surgical office in Boston, North Haven, or Minnesota are preferred.
The Innovation Manager will combine clinical marketing, field enablement, and evidence-based messaging to help communicate the platform’s clinical value through compliant, high-impact tools and campaigns. This role partners with global and regional stakeholders to support launch readiness, surgeon engagement, post-market adoption, and the development of differentiated value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead evidence and claims strategy, including standardized account metrics, claims matrices, value messaging, and medical, legal, and regulatory review materials.
- Partner with pilot sites and key opinion leaders to capture feedback, refine engagement strategies, and identify evidence gaps.
- Translate clinical and real-world data into compliant, globally aligned marketing claims.
- Drive cross-functional launch planning with commercial, clinical, marketing, and regional teams.
- Develop surgeon-facing positioning, clinical engagement content, localized field training tools, case videos, and procedural materials.
- Manage collateral submissions through regulated review processes and ensure brand and messaging alignment.
- Support podium strategy, publications, and integration of clinical evidence into marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of medical device marketing or commercial execution experience, ideally in surgical or digital health.
- Experience in product management, launch planning, sales enablement, or field marketing.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, stakeholder dynamics, and key opinion leader engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to develop messaging, tools, and training for commercial teams.
- Ability to manage timelines and collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization.
