We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to support paid social initiatives for a manufacturing organization in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who brings hands-on experience managing digital advertising across social platforms and using performance data to improve campaign results. The role focuses on building, launching, and refining paid social efforts while helping identify audience opportunities and channel strategies that drive engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities:
• Manage paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, or similar channels, with a strong emphasis on ad execution.
• Build, launch, and adjust social advertisements to improve reach, engagement, and overall campaign performance.
• Develop target audience segments and refine audience strategies based on campaign goals and performance insights.
• Monitor campaign metrics regularly and evaluate which creative, targeting, and placements are delivering the strongest results.
• Optimize active campaigns through budget adjustments, audience updates, and ad-level performance improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align paid social activity with broader social media strategy and business objectives.
• Support the planning and execution of social media initiatives across key channels while maintaining a performance-driven approach.
• 1-3 years of experience in a corporate, enterprise, or agency environment supporting social media advertising.
• Practical experience working with at least one major social advertising or management platform, such as Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Sprout Social, or LinkedIn.
• Demonstrated ability to launch and optimize paid social campaigns using performance data and audience insights.
• Familiarity with audience creation, campaign analysis, and ongoing ad refinement to improve results.
• Working knowledge of social media strategy, content, campaigns, and channel management.
• Background in agency or corporate marketing settings preferred; nonprofit-only experience is not the primary fit for this role.
