3di has been providing outsourced technical documentation services for over 20 years to global companies and technology businesses. We're looking for an experienced Freelance Technical Writer to support an upcoming project in Dearborn, Michigan.
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background and experience documenting complex electrical and engineering systems, testing activities and safety requirements.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience as a Technical Writer, ideally within electrical, energy, engineering or industrial environments.
- Has experience documenting complex equipment and engineering systems.
- Has experience producing testing documentation, engineering documentation and safety reports.
- Is experienced with MadCap Flare.
- Is comfortable working with engineers and technical SMEs to gather and validate technical information.
- Can translate complex technical information into clear, accurate and structured documentation.
- Is comfortable working onsite in Dearborn, Michigan.
- Can work independently and communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
Experience with large-scale electrical or energy-related equipment would be highly relevant.
