Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.
- Updating existing content to ensure SEO is relevant in terms of keywords and products.
- Developing and publishing content to go onto new website pages, liaising with stakeholders in SEO & Marketing teams.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
- Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
- Writing SEO optimised blogs and other content.
- Writing off-site blogs with a focus on SEO.
- Tailor content using the brand’s tone of voice, focusing on SEO keywords.
- Create category page content and other website content.
- Work with SEO team to ensure our websites rank within search engines and look for opportunities where we can improve SEO.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelors (preferably Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field)
Key Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines
