We are seeking a talented and motivated Freelance Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of language and a passion for storytelling. As a Freelance Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for the printed publication, ensuring clarity and style while adhering to deadlines. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to diverse writing projects. Primary residence in Hamilton, Ohio is prefered.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality written content that aligns with the publications style and objectives.
Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth in all written materials.
Edit and proofread content for grammar, punctuation, style, and clarity.
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and expectations.
Communicate effectively with clients and editor regarding timelines, feedback, and revisions.

Experience

Proven experience in copywriting, creative writing, or journalism is preferred.
Strong skills in proofreading and editing with an eye for detail.
Ability to conduct research efficiently and synthesize information into compelling narratives.
Familiarity with various writing styles and formats; adaptability is key.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A portfolio showcasing previous writing samples is highly desirable.
