Creative Operations Manager
Location: Remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates; in-person filming attendance in Los Angeles is required throughout the month.
Employment Structure: Full-time, paid three-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning to ongoing W-2 employment.
Compensation: $70K–90K annualized, prorated for the three-month contract term.
OVERVIEW
Mina Le LLC is the company behind Mina Le’s YouTube channel, Instagram, podcast, and brand partnerships, producing long- and short-form content about fashion, film, and culture for an audience of more than two million, with over 150 million views to date.
Mina Le LLC is seeking a Creative Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day business operations and coordinate production across content, sponsorships, and new creative projects. Working directly with Mina, you will manage sponsorship deals, production schedules, contractors, brand approvals, and audition logistics, while contributing to scripting, production, and editorial review.
This role combines operational ownership with hands-on creative work, enabling Mina to focus on creative development and new projects. You should be comfortable setting priorities, adapting to changing deadlines, and making day-to-day decisions with an agreed scope of authority.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sponsorships and Brand Partnerships
• Manage brand communications, approvals, and deliverables.
• Script and produce sponsored short-form videos aligned with Mina’s creative direction.
• Incorporate brand feedback while maintaining a consistent creative voice.
• Prioritize time-sensitive partnership requests and coordinate delivery.
Production Operations
• Maintain a centralized calendar across content, sponsorships, projects, and events.
• Manage the content pipeline and adjust schedules as priorities and deadlines change.
• Prepare and set up equipment for filming.
• Manage freelance contractors and recruit additional support as needed.
• Organize production assets, manage file transfers, and coordinate writer and editor handoffs.
• Review video edits and provide actionable creative feedback.
Administrative and Business Support
• Coordinate scheduling, inbox management, travel, meetings, and audition logistics.
SUCCESS IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS
1. Within the first 30 days, demonstrate an understanding of Mina’s creative voice by scripting and producing sponsored short-form content aligned with her direction.
2. Assume ownership of the sponsorship inbox and manage at least three partnerships from initial inquiry through final delivery.
3. Establish a shared production tracking system that provides visibility into project status, deadlines, and next steps.
4. Maintain an accurate sponsorship calendar covering the next eight weeks.
5. Evaluate existing freelance contractor arrangements and recommend improvements.
6. Identify one operational improvement and present a practical implementation plan.
ABOUT YOU
You have experience managing operations for a founder or executive and are ready to take ownership of day-to-day execution. You bring sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and a resourceful approach to work when priorities shift or processes are still developing. Relevant backgrounds include startups, media, marketing, or production.
You can write and edit in someone else’s voice while preserving its distinctive tone and perspective. You understand how to assess whether content and partnership opportunities fit Mina Le’s brand and audience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 4-6 years of experience in operations, a chief of staff role, production, or a senior marketing role.
• Direct experience in video or media production, social media, or creator/influencer management.
• Demonstrated experience managing brand or client relationships.
• Experience managing freelance contractors or a small team.
• Ability to script and produce short-form video content aligned with an established creative voice.
• Availability for in-person filming in Los Angeles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Graphic design skills.
• Hands-on video editing skills.
