Role Description The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing social media content across key platforms, ensuring messages align with The nu vintage brand voice and visual identity. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, producing posts (copy, imagery, short-form video), scheduling campaigns, and engaging with the online community through comments, messages, and collaborations. The specialist will monitor performance metrics, analyze audience behavior, and support broader digital marketing initiatives to increase reach, engagement, and conversions. This position works closely with marketing and creative teams to maintain consistent branding and leverage trends, seasonal moments, and influencer partnerships.
Qualifications
- Social media-focused marketing skills, including Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with the ability to plan and execute campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Hands-on content skills, including Social Media Content Creation and Marketing, to develop platform-appropriate copy, visuals, and short-form video.
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences, collaborate with internal teams, and represent the brand professionally in online interactions.
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest, including use of scheduling and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of current social media trends, best practices, and basic performance measurement (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions).
- Ability to work on-site in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in fashion, lifestyle, retail, or related consumer brands is preferred but not required.
- Relevant education or training in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is beneficial.
