About Reventure
Reventure is a fast-growing real estate and economic news brand with more than 1 million followers across YouTube, Instagram, X, and Facebook. To date, we've received over 200 Million views on YouTube and over 200 Million on Instagram.
Our content regularly goes viral.
Instagram Reels frequently generate 100,000+ views, with top videos reaching 1 million+ views. Our long-form YouTube videos have also generated 1 million+ views.
Reventure's long-form YouTube videos have averaged roughly 169,000 engaged views in 2026, with the average increasing to nearly 200,000 views since July.
We are highly analytical about content performance. Titles, thumbnails, hooks, editing, retention, CTR, posting strategy, and topic selection are all measured and continuously improved.
We are now looking for a YouTube & Social Media Channel Assistant to work closely with Nick Gerli, Reventure's CEO, and help operate and improve the content machine behind the brand.
The Role
The primary goal of this position is to take much of the administrative, operational, and data analytics work surrounding Reventure's content channels off Nick's plate, while helping keep the entire content pipeline organized and moving forward.
You will help manage videos from the moment Nick records them through editing, revisions, thumbnail design, publishing, and performance analysis.
This is not simply a social media posting role.
You will be involved in the content funnel, analytics, quality control, and strategy, while working closely with Nick to understand why certain videos go viral and how Reventure can continuously improve.
The core responsibility is simple: keep the Reventure content machine moving.
What You'll Do
- Manage the content funnel from recording through publication.
- Receive new long-form and short-form videos from Nick and organize the content pipeline.
- Send footage to long-form and short-form editors with clear instructions and deadlines.
- Coordinate with video editors, thumbnail designers, and title designers.
- Track deadlines and proactively follow up when something is falling behind.
- Review completed edits and coordinate revisions.
- Review titles and thumbnails using Reventure's existing performance systems and historical data.
- Upload, schedule, and publish content across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Prepare video descriptions, captions, pinned comments, Reventure App CTAs, and other publishing assets.
- Maintain the publishing calendar and help keep the content pipeline several days ahead whenever possible.
- Track weekly performance metrics including views, CTR, retention, skip rate, share rate, thumbnail performance, and platform performance.
- Analyze which topics, titles, thumbnails, hooks, and editing approaches are performing best.
- Identify meaningful patterns in the data and communicate those insights to Nick, editors, and designers.
- Work directly with Nick to brainstorm future videos and help develop ongoing content strategy.
- Help develop new tests and systems that can improve channel performance over time.
The goal is not simply to update spreadsheets. We want someone who can learn from the numbers and use them to make future content better.
Working Directly With Nick
This role will work very closely with Nick on an ongoing basis.
Nick will remain intimately involved with the channel, particularly when it comes to content strategy, video ideas, titles, thumbnails, editing decisions, analytics, and overall performance.
You should expect frequent communication, typically daily, as content moves through the production process. This may include Slack messages, quick calls, feedback, brainstorming, and discussions around titles, thumbnails, edits, analytics, and upcoming content.
We are looking for someone who enjoys that type of close collaboration.
You should be comfortable receiving frequent, direct, constructive feedback, asking questions, contributing your own ideas, and adjusting quickly when a different direction is needed.
At the same time, we are looking for someone capable of independently managing their workflow and responsibilities. The goal is for you to increasingly take responsibility for the administrative, coordination, publishing, and analytics work surrounding the channels so Nick can spend more time on higher-level content, marketing, partnerships, and company growth.
The existing role structure is specifically designed around frequent communication while progressively taking day-to-day channel management off Nick's plate.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is high-energy, highly organized, analytical, proactive, and passionate about excellence and success.
You should care about whether the content actually performs.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious about questions like:
Why did one video get 500,000 views while another got 100,000?
Why did one thumbnail produce a stronger CTR than another?
Why did viewers stay through one opening hook but skip another?
Which topics consistently outperform?
What should we change next time?
You should be comfortable working with numbers, spotting patterns, managing multiple deadlines, communicating with creative professionals, and making judgment calls.
You should also have a low ego when it comes to feedback. You may need to critique an editor or designer's work while also being willing to change your own opinion when the performance data or Nick's feedback points in another direction.
Reventure evaluates titles and thumbnails primarily based on click-through rate and editing based on viewer retention rather than personal preference.
Location
This is a mostly remote role, but we strongly prefer someone based in the Nashville area.
Most work can be completed remotely and the contractor will generally manage their own working schedule, subject to publishing deadlines, agreed deliverables, and the needs of an active content operation.
For Nashville-area candidates, there may also be opportunities for occasional in-person meetings at Reventure's Nashville office, typically around once every 1 to 2 weeks, for strategy discussions, brainstorming, analytics reviews, and relationship building.
Initial Engagement
This position will begin as a 90-day independent contractor engagement.
Compensation: $25-$40/hour depending on experience and skill level. Approximately 20 hours per week during the initial 90-day contractor engagement.
We anticipate the workload averaging approximately 20 hours per week, although the contractor will generally control when and how the work is completed, subject to publishing schedules, deadlines, meetings, and agreed deliverables.
This is a results-oriented role. We care about keeping the content pipeline organized, hitting publishing deadlines, maintaining quality, improving performance, and reducing the amount of day-to-day channel administration Nick personally needs to manage.
If the initial engagement goes well and there is a strong mutual fit, there may be an opportunity to expand the role and potentially transition into a full-time position in the future.
Why This Role Is Different
You will be joining a content operation that already generates significant reach and has developed detailed internal systems around virality, CTR, retention, titles, thumbnails, editing, and analytics.
You will work directly with the CEO and get significant exposure to how a high-performing digital media operation actually functions.
This is a strong fit for someone who wants to do more than simply schedule posts.
- We are looking for someone who wants to understand why content works, help improve it, and become increasingly valuable to the operation over time.
How to Apply
Please include:
- A short note explaining why you would be a strong fit for the role.
- Any relevant experience with YouTube, Instagram, content operations, analytics, or digital media.
- Whether you are based in the Nashville area and your general availability.
- A quick analysis of one recent Reventure YouTube video or Instagram Reel. Pick any recent video and spend no more than 10 minutes on it. Tell us what you think worked, what could have been better, and one specific thing you would test or change to improve performance.
We are particularly interested in how you think about titles, thumbnails, hooks, retention, and overall view performance, since those are central to how Reventure evaluates content.
To confirm you read the full posting, include the phrase “Reventure Content Machine” somewhere in your application.
