Civil/Structural Designer III
Location: Duluth, MN
Work Model: Hybrid – Monday, Tuesday & Thursday onsite; Wednesday & Friday remote

Job Description:
We are looking for a Civil/Structural Designer III with strong oil and gas drafting experience to support Engineering and Operations. This role will develop, update, and maintain accurate engineering drawings for pipeline and facility projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills and experience working across multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain engineering drawings for pipeline and facility projects.
- Create and revise drawings based on engineering concepts, project requirements, and field redlines.
- Review site markups, photos, and as-built information and incorporate changes into drawings.
- Prepare Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages.
- Ensure drawings follow applicable drafting standards and industry practices.
- Maintain drawing revisions, document control, and project records.
- Work with engineers, project managers, field teams, vendors, and external drafting providers.
- Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies using available project and field information.
- Support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Help maintain accurate Process Safety Information (PSI) and engineering documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of drafting experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong experience working across multiple disciplines:
- Mechanical
- Piping
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience creating and updating:
- P&IDs
- Plot Plans
- Facility Layouts
- Equipment Drawings
- Ability to interpret field redlines, site photos, as-built information, and project documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams.
