SUCCESS Enterprises is currently seeking a freelance Marketing Copywriter. This is a contract position, working remotely.
The 127-year-old newsstand publication SUCCESS magazine and its online counterpart SUCCESS.com offer personal and professional development, motivation and best practices for entrepreneurs and achievers worldwide. The site welcomes nearly 1 million monthly unique visitors, and SUCCESS and its affiliated social media accounts boast 6+ million cumulative fans.
SUCCESS offers a full suite of digital products and services as well targeted integrated opportunities to efficiently and effectively reach audiences in select markets. This person is a self-starter and can work well independently. Must be able to prioritize and work effectively and efficiently under multiple and often conflicting deadlines. The position requires someone who is proactive and able to anticipate required action, when needed, for successful resolution/result.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Draft and edit persuasive, clear, and engaging copy for various marketing initiatives, including but not limited to email campaigns, landing pages, advertisements, blog posts, and social media.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all written content aligns with the company's brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to create cohesive and effective marketing materials.
- Research: Conduct research to understand our target audience, staying updated with industry trends and competitive insights to inform your writing.
- Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to digital copy, ensuring content is discoverable and ranks competitively in search engines.
- Proofreading and Editing: Review and refine content for clarity, grammar, and punctuation. Ensure consistency across all written outputs.
- Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders, making revisions as necessary to produce final drafts.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional copywriting or other relevant experience, preferably in a marketing capacity. AP Style knowledge and experience is a must.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of written materials, particularly marketing-focused content.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles and how they apply to content writing.
- Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to adapt writing style to various audiences and platforms.
- Attributes: Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong research skills and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with various topics.
Compensation for this opportunity is $35/hour up to 20 hours per week.
