Shokuya collaborates closely with producers to redesign labels and present their stories to consumers. Shokuya was founded by Henry Sidel, who has been working in food and beverage working in food and beverage manufacturing, distribution, sales, and marketing since 1993. From 2005-2022, Henry founded, grew, managed, and sold Joto Sake LLC, an importer and national distributor of Japanese sake. Job Description and Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Assistant is a part-time, offsite role based in New York, NY. This team member will work directly with the CEO and support other team members in these areas:
- Google--all platforms, growing organic SEO, managing paid advertising, meeting high metrics on platforms.
- Meta, TikTok, Youtube, and other platforms: assist lead manager, especially in the areas of analysis and ROAD
- Shopify: research, analyze, identify, explain, and execute ideas for improvement. Improve and increase content, connections to other Shokuya social platforms, and other creative ideas.
- Qualifications
- 1-3 Years of experience with SEO
- 1-3 Years of experience using Google, Shopify, Meta, Youtube, and TikTok.
- Experience with Amazon would be very positive.
- Legal working status
- Bachelor's Degree, if not completed than almost.
- Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and support a positive customer experience
- Organizational skills and attention to detail when managing content, campaigns, and customer data
- Prior internship or experience in marketing, e-commerce, or food and beverage is a plus
