Hildebrand Law Firm, LLC has served families and businesses in the Milwaukee area since 2001. The firm practices in estate planning, probate, Medicaid planning, family law, real estate, and business law. The majority of our clients are age 55 and over.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Manager is responsible for the firm's public-facing presence across social, video, and paid digital channels, and supports the firm's educational workshop and community event program.
The firm maintains an established podcast, a recurring workshop series, and a professional referral network. This position exists to ensure that work reaches its intended audience. Communications must be clear and accessible to an audience of older adults and their adult children.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social media
- Manage the firm's Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts on a consistent weekly publishing schedule
- Develop and maintain the content calendar and communicate scheduled content to firm staff
- Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages, and route client inquiries to the intake team the same business day
Video and short-form content
- Manage the firm's YouTube channel, including uploads, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapters, and end screens
- Edit podcast episodes and workshop recordings into short-form video for Reels and Shorts
- Maintain a consistent short-form publishing schedule that extends the reach of each episode beyond its release week
Creative and paid media
- Develop original content concepts and test new formats and messaging
- Produce graphics in Canva consistent with the firm's brand standards, and edit video using appropriate tools
- Develop and manage paid social creative, and report on campaign performance
Events
- Schedule and coordinate the firm's educational workshops, including events co-hosted with financial advisors, senior living communities, and other referral partners
- Plan and schedule the firm's charity and community events
- Promote all firm events across digital channels and manage registration and attendee reminders
- Provide on-site support at events, including setup
Referral network development
- Build and manage the firm's LinkedIn network, identifying prospective referral partners and candidates
- Conduct outreach intended to establish substantive professional relationships
- Refer qualified introductions to the appropriate attorney or staff member and follow through to completion
QUALIFICATIONS
- One to four years of experience managing social media for a business, brand, or agency OR recently graduated with relevant bachelors degree
- A portfolio of relevant work is required
- Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit short-form video independently
- Proficiency in Canva, and willingness to learn additional tools as required
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly for a general audience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a publishing calendar and meet committed deadlines
- Willingness to attend firm events and engage directly with attendees and referral partners
- Reliable transportation. Workshops are held in the Milwaukee area and in Madison
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $52,000 to $62,000 annually, commensurate with experience
