We provide in-person and virtual therapy designed to make mental healthcare more accessible and engaging for pre-teens, teenagers, young adults, and their families. We are also building a strong community of therapists interested in innovative ways to connect with and support their clients.
Role Description
Plutonic is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing and Community Engagement Manager to build our presence among prospective clients, families, therapists, and community partners for the remainder of the year.
This is a hands-on contract role for someone who can both develop a plan and execute it. You will organize and represent Plutonic at community events, professional conferences, health fairs, conventions, networking events, and promotional booths. You will also build relationships with therapists and referral partners while maintaining a consistent social media presence that increases brand awareness, client interest, and therapist engagement.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and coordinate relevant community events, conferences, health fairs, conventions, therapist networking events, and sponsorship opportunities
- Plan event participation, including registration, booth setup, promotional materials, staffing, giveaways, and follow-up
- Represent Plutonic at events and engage comfortably with prospective clients, parents, therapists, clinicians, and community partners
- Develop and manage a social media and community-engagement schedule for the remainder of the year
- Create and publish content for prospective clients and families, as well as content that introduces therapists to Plutonic’s clinical work, culture, and technology
- Develop campaigns that support both client acquisition and therapist recruitment
- Capture photos, videos, therapist interviews, event highlights, and other original content
- Build relationships with schools, clinicians, private practices, professional associations, universities, nonprofits, influencers, and youth organizations
- Help organize therapist-focused events, demonstrations, networking opportunities, webinars, and educational content
- Promote Plutonic’s therapists, areas of expertise, community involvement, and Virtual Therapy Platform
- Track event leads, prospective-client inquiries, therapist interest, referrals, social growth, and other performance indicators
- Work directly with the CEO to prioritize opportunities and execute marketing initiatives
This is a hybrid role based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Remote work is available for planning and content-related responsibilities, but regular attendance at local events is required. Some evening and weekend availability will be necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in event marketing, community engagement, social media management, field marketing, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage events from initial planning through post-event follow-up
- Confidence representing a company and building relationships with families, therapists, and community organizations
- Experience developing and maintaining social media content calendars
- Strong written communication and an eye for engaging visual content
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and consistently follow through
- Familiarity with Canva, social media scheduling platforms, and basic performance reporting
- Experience in mental health, healthcare, therapist recruitment, youth services, education, or a startup environment is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to events throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area
Compensation and Details
- Part-time contract position
- Approximately $2,000 per month
- Hybrid, with in-person community and event responsibilities
- Based in the Atlanta metropolitan area
