About MASii
We believe doing good deserves better marketing.
MASii is a gamified impact platform that makes doing good more rewarding. Members complete positive actions, earn rewards, win prizes worth up to $100,000 every month, and build their GoodPrint™, a measurable record of the good they put into the world.
We're here to celebrate the giver, because giving is receiving. Doing good changes someone else's day, but we believe it changes yours even more.
Our mission is simple: put the feel-good factor of giving in your pocket and inspire millions to make doing good a daily habit.
Launching in November, before expanding nationally, we're building a movement at the intersection of technology, social impact, entertainment, and content. Doing good is about to get a lot more fun!
Why this role matters
We are a consumer app where the language is the experience. Product descriptions, in-app prompts, push notifications, onboarding, every line either builds the brand or dilutes it. Today that copy is written and reviewed ad hoc, and it bottlenecks at the most senior people on the team.
This role fixes that. You will write the high-volume brand and product copy, become the first set of eyes on every piece of copy before it reaches our Brand Lead, and turn our voice into a documented system so quality holds without a senior review on every line.
This is a craft role with real ownership, not a ticket queue.
Reports to our Brand Lead. You will also work directly with product, design, and growth.
What you'll own:
High-volume product and experience descriptions, the core output. Written to sell the feeling of the thing, not spec-sheet it.
In-app microcopy: onboarding, prompts, empty states, error states, confirmations, celebration moments.
Push notifications and lifecycle email/SMS: short-form, high-stakes, tested.
Growth and social: creator briefs, UGC prompts and captions, paid social variants, app store listing and ASO copy.
Landing pages and campaign copy, plus the occasional partner-facing one-pager.
Act as the pre-check on all copy across the company, yours and everyone else's. You catch voice drift, off-brand claims, inconsistent terminology, and formatting problems so senior review becomes a yes/no instead of a rewrite.
Own the brand voice guide: tone principles, do/don't examples, banned words, capitalization and punctuation rules, and how we talk about the things that matter to us.
Build modular copy templates: descriptions that survive a real variant matrix (options, sizes, colors, limited availability, substitutions), not just a single hero example.
Maintain a terminology glossary, so product, marketing, and support all use the same words for the same things.
Write the prompt packs and style rules: what the team and our AI tooling use so first drafts already sound 80% right.
Work with AI writing tools fluently: reusable prompts, variants at volume, then edited with real taste. We are not paying for typing. We are paying for judgment, voice, and throughput.
We're looking for someone who
Being comfortable working in a fast moving, reactive environment is essential. We're not looking for ‘yes people,’ we're looking for entrepreneurially driven, creative, think outside the box-ers who have a sky's the limit attitude!
Must have
- 3+ years writing consumer brand and product copy: consumer app, e-commerce/retail, or lifestyle/entertainment.
- A portfolio that proves range: a 12-word push notification and a 150-word description, same voice.
- Proven ability to absorb someone else's brand vision and execute inside it. This role serves an existing creative vision; ego-driven rewrites are a bad fit.
- Ruthless self-editing. Clean, consistent, on-spec copy without hand-holding
- Comfort with structure: templates, variables, style guides, docs, tickets.
- Working fluency with AI writing tools, and a point of view on where they help and where they flatten a brand.
Nice to have
- Rewards, loyalty, gamification, promotions, or cause-marketing experience.
- Familiarity with promotional language mechanics (eligibility, availability, substitution), or the instinct to flag it for legal.
- ASO or conversion-copy testing experience.
- Creator and UGC brief writing.
- Basic comfort in Figma and in a standard ticketing/CMS workflow.
How you work
- Fast, high-volume, unbothered by revisions.
- Asks the clarifying question before writing 40 descriptions the wrong way.
- Sees the pattern in a one-off request and proposes the template.
- Direct communicator, comfortable in an async, small-team culture.
