Freelance Clothing Designer
Amanda Uprichard is a NYC based Contemporary women's clothing brand. We are sold nationally and are also on ecommerce sites such as Revolve, Shopbop, Saks and Nordstorms. We are looking for a Freelance Designer to help us expand our product categories. We are located in the NYC Garment Center. This position can be remote, but some fit attendance will be required.
Qualifications
-4-5 years experience in women's woven garments, specifically silk.
-Strong fashion sense, and understanding of the contemporary market
-Must be highly skilled at creating detailed and accurate overseas tech packs.
-Strong flat sketching ability.
-Understanding of construction, materials, fit, and how they work together.
-Clear communicator.
-Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
-Working knowledge of excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft office.
-Must be able to follow the entire product cycle from ideation, design, techpack first sample and SMS sample.
-Must be able to communicate with overseas factories.

Compensation - $65.00 dollars per hour based on experience. Paid weekly.
