Role Description The Content and Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lakewood,NJ.
The role combines content marketing, email marketing, social media, executive thought
leadership, PR support, and event storytelling. The goal is not simply to publish more content. It
is to create content that builds authority, grows our audiences, strengthens our communities,
and ultimately drives registrations and sponsorship interest.
Key Responsibilities
Own content calendars across email, social media, website, blog, PR, and other channels
Write, build, and manage email campaigns for attendee acquisition, sponsorship,
speakers, programming, and event communications
Manage social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant
platforms
Develop executive thought leadership content for company leaders and event executives
Write marketing copy for websites, landing pages, advertisements, event agendas,
campaigns, and promotional materials
Create and publish speaker, sponsor, agenda, registration, and event announcement
campaigns
Develop blogs, articles, press releases, case studies, interviews, and long-form content
Coordinate podcast production, guest communications, promotional content, and
distribution
Engage with audiences and industry communities across social platforms
Identify opportunities to turn speakers, sponsors, attendees, industry news, and event
programming into compelling content
Collaborate with graphic designers and video resources to develop creative assets
Manage live and real-time social coverage during conferences and events
Repurpose event footage, interviews, panels, photos, and insights into ongoing content
Maintain consistent brand voice while understanding the unique audience and positioning of each event

Ideal Candidate
3+ years of content marketing, social media, communications, or digital marketing
experience
Exceptional writer who can adapt voice and messaging across multiple brands and
audiences
Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, email marketing, and organic content
strategy
Strong proficiency in Canva, with the ability to independently create, edit, resize,
and adapt high-quality social media graphics, carousels, event promotions, and
other day-to-day content assets
Strong visual eye and understanding of brand consistency, typography, layout, and
social-first creative
Comfortable interviewing executives, speakers, sponsors, and industry leaders to extract
compelling stories
Able to balance strategic thinking with high-volume execution
Strong understanding of audience growth, engagement, conversion, and content
performance
Experience with email marketing platforms, CMS tools, social scheduling platforms, and
analytics
