Social Media Community Manager

We’re looking for a Social Media Community Manager to support engagement across brand social channels. You’ll help monitor conversations, spot trends, support on-brand responses, and learn how community management shapes brand reputation, engagement, and insight.

Key Accountabilities
- Manage daily community engagement across brand social channels, including making posts, commenting, listening, and escalating when appropriate.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and conversations.
- Respond to consumers in a thoughtful, on-brand way and follow escalation guidelines when needed.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and brand affinity.
- Spot emerging themes, risks, and cultural moments, and share them with key partners.
- Help maintain a clear and consistent brand voice across platforms.
- Partner with Influencer & Content, Brand, and additional cross-functional teams to support campaign priorities.
- Provide input on content themes, FAQs, and messaging based on community feedback.
- Track community trends, sentiment, and consumer questions.
- Help turn social conversations into insights and recommendations for the broader team.
- Partner with the IC team on brainstorming and turning insights into ideas.
- Support reporting on engagement and community health.
- Follow moderation guidelines and community management best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing a social account for a club, campus organization, small business, or personal project.
- Strong writing skills and attention to tone and detail.
- Strong interest in social media, brand storytelling, and digital culture.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, or LinkedIn.
- Good judgment and professionalism in public-facing communication.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities.
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience identifying trends, cultural moments, or emerging conversation themes online.
- Experience turning community observations into content ideas or recommendations.
- Familiarity with social listening, community management, or reporting tools.

The salary range for this position is $38/hr to $40/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
