Position: Media Content Creator (Contractor)
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Media Content Creator to join our Creative team. As a Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating engaging and relevant content across various platforms.
Duties:
-Shoot and edit videos tailored for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube and other platforms as needed.
-Create engaging and authentic content that resonates with target audiences while adhering to brand guidelines and platform-specific best practices.
-Understand the nuances of each social media platform, including the style and tone of content for each, optimal video lengths, aspect ratios, and trends.
-Conceptualize and pitch ideas for new video content that aligns with current trends and audience preferences, ensuring they are achievable autonomously.
-Attend events to shoot "behind the scenes" footage and create compelling narratives that capture the essence of the event or brand experience.
-Shoot product videos in a small studio environment, ensuring high production quality and effective showcasing of products for social media marketing purposes.
-Collaborate effectively with marketing teams, content creators, and stakeholders to brainstorm and execute video concepts that meet strategic objectives.
-Maintain and organize video files, ensuring accessibility for future edits and repurposing.
-Demonstrate professionalism and discretion when working with high-profile individuals, including athletes and celebrities, ensuring a positive and respectful working environment.
-Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in social media video production techniques, tools, and platforms.
-Manage video production schedules, including planning, shooting, editing, and delivering final content within deadlines.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in shooting and editing videos specifically for social media, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content across various platforms.
-Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
-Comfortable shooting social media videos using both a cell phone and DSLR camera, demonstrating proficiency in handling and operating both types of equipment effectively and knowing when each is most effective.
-Strong understanding of social media platforms, their audiences, and best practices for video content creation.
-Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in content creation and idea generation.
-Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in large group settings and maintain professionalism around high-profile individuals.
-Experience in both event videography and shooting product videos in a studio environment.
-A proven ability to problem solve on-the-fly as well as foresee challenges and problem solve in advance.
-Flexibility to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed for events and shoots.
-Ability to adapt quickly to changes in project scope, deadlines, and priorities.

Pay: $300.00 - $1,200.00 per week
