Georgia Followers, also known as GAFollowers, is seeking a dependable and creative Video Editor / Social Media Designer. The ideal candidate understands digital media and can create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and other online platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Edit Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, interviews, news clips, promotional videos, and other short form internet content
• Turn raw footage into engaging, fast paced content designed for online audiences
• Format videos according to each social media platform’s standards
• Add captions, graphics, music, transitions, logos, and other branding elements
• Create and edit social media graphics using Canva
• Accept assignments through text message and email
• Complete most short form editing assignments the same day, with an approximately 4 to 8 hour turnaround expected for time sensitive projects
• Follow creative direction and make revisions based on team feedback
• Maintain consistent quality while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
• Experience editing Instagram Reels and other vertical short form content
• Experience using at least one professional video editing platform
• Final Cut Pro experience is a plus
• Experience using Canva
• Basic social media graphic design skills
• Familiarity with social media trends, video dimensions, file formats, captions, pacing, and platform specific editing standards
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Able to accept direction and editing notes from the GAFollowers team
• Must be available Monday through Friday and for some weekend and evening assignments
• Must own a reliable laptop capable of handling video editing projects
• Must have reliable internet access
• Flexible, responsive, self motivated, and dependable
Software
The company will provide or sponsor the approved video editing and creative software required for the position.
