Akkodis is recruiting for an Aerospace Technical Writer for a client in the St George, UT area. This is a remote contract position with a pay range of $35 an hour to $45 an hour depending on experience, education and location.
Technical Documentation: Write, edit, and format technical documents, including but not limited to technical specifications, SDRLs, test reports, procedures, and proposals, user guides and manuals, and other technical publications.
- Mastery of Microsoft Word.
- Skilled in oral and written communication, especially technical communication.
- Knowledge of aerospace / military engineering design, development, build and test, and production.
- Knowledge of engineering customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in journalism, technical writing, aerospace engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 5 years minumum experience
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and/or Microsoft Teams a plus.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
