Friday Collective is the operations umbrella behind Hey Mr, Madison Taylor Marketing, and Studio Motus. We're looking for a Denver-based social media content contractor to both capture and create content — shooting on-the-ground photo and video at events, client locations, and campaign shoots, then editing that footage into finished, ready-to-post pieces for our social and creative teams.
Must be based in Denver, CO and able to travel locally to client sites and events on short notice. Willingness to travel regionally/nationally for occasional shoots is a plus, not a requirement.
What you'll do:
- Capture high-quality photo and video content on locationfor lifestyle and food brands — client offices, storefronts, job sites, and events — for use across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Work from shot lists and creative briefs provided by the social/creative team, while spotting and capturing unscripted moments worth using.
- Shoot short-form vertical video (Reels/TikTok) as well as static and carousel-ready photography.
- Edit raw footage into finished, ready-to-post content — trimmed and captioned Reels/TikToks, photo carousels, and Stories — not just raw file hand-off.
- Contribute content ideas and concepts, adapting to each client's brand voice and platform best practices.
- Handle basic on-site organization: labeling, backing up, and delivering both raw and finished files promptly after each shoot.
- Coordinate scheduling directly with the internal team and, at times, with client-side contacts.
- Maintain a consistent, on-brand visual style across client accounts as directed.
What we're looking for:
- Based in Denver, CO with reliable transportation and availability for on-site shoots (days/times vary by event).
- A portfolio demonstrating both content capture and finished, edited social content — not just polished commercial work.
- Client facing experience: organizing shoots, professional and experience directing clients
- Proficient editing short-form video (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar) with an eye for pacing, captions, and trends on Reels/TikTok.
- Comfortable directing subjects and working independently on-site with minimal supervision.
- Responsive and easy to schedule with — able to confirm availability quickly and hit shoot windows reliably.
- Prior experience shooting and creating content for brands, agencies, or events strongly preferred.
Nice to have:
- Availability to travel outside the Denver metro for multi-day shoots, occasionally.
- Experience writing captions/copy tailored to each platform.
- Owns professional-grade equipment: camera body, lenses, stabilizer/gimbal, and basic audio; lighting kit a plus.
- Drone photography/videography and FAA Part 107 certification.
- Experience working across multiple client brands or accounts simultaneously.
How to Apply:
Send a portfolio, a brief note on your equipment and availability, and your day-rate or project-rate expectations to careers@fridaycollective.co
