Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, highly organized Social Media & PR Coordinator to elevate our digital presence and amplify the Kyle Bunting brand. In this role, you will be responsible for translating our high-end aesthetic into compelling digital stories, managing our editorial content calendar, and capturing behind-the-scenes studio craftsmanship.
Additionally, you will leverage a foundational understanding of public relations to assist with press outreach, product placements, and media requests, ensuring brand consistency across both social channels and editorial publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Content Calendar Management
- Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive monthly social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
- Schedule all posts, Stories, Reels, and pins to align with product launches, trade show events, interior designer features, and studio milestones.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that reflects luxury, craftsmanship, and modern design innovation.
Visual Content Creation
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form video (Reels/TikTok) and photography capturing finished custom rugs, studio processes, artisan techniques, and showroom installations.
- Document behind-the-scenes studio operations, raw materials, double-dye color processes, and custom client projects.
- Produce clean, branded visual assets (graphics, carousels, video cuts) using modern mobile editing apps and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Public Relations & Editorial Support
- Monitor incoming press inquiries, photo pull requests, and media sample needs from interior design publications, luxury shelter mags, and stylists.
- Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, brand announcements, and press kits for new collection launches.
- Maintain and update media lists, editorial calendars, and press coverage archives (print and digital clippings).
- Coordinate image rights and credits for published projects featuring Kyle Bunting products.
Community Engagement & Performance Tracking
- Engage with interior designers, architects, media outlets, and design enthusiasts through proactive community management and direct messaging.
- Track and analyze social media metrics (engagement, growth, website referral traffic) and present monthly performance recaps with actionable insights.
- Identify emerging design trends, social media formats, and trade partner collaboration opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–4 years of professional experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within luxury design, interior architecture, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
- Content Calendar Mastery: Proven ability to build and manage structured, multi-channel editorial calendars using tools such as Asana, Notion, or Later.
- Hands-on Content Creation (A Must): Strong photography and video shooting/editing skills optimized for mobile. Proficiency in tools like CapCut, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or Canva.
- PR Literacy: Cursory knowledge of public relations principles, media pitching, press kit development, and editorial outreach.
- Design Aesthetic: A refined eye for detail, color, texture, and spatial composition, with an understanding of the interior design trade audience.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to write engaging captions and professional media communications.
