Role Description
This is a remote freelance opportunity for a commission-based Kansas City Chiefs Writer. You'll be responsible for creating and editing articles covering the Chiefs — game reactions, roster moves, draft coverage, injury updates, rumors, and takes on everything happening in Kansas City.
If you already follow every snap, every transaction, and every press conference, this is a chance to turn that into published work. You set your own angle and schedule.
Stadium Rant will distribute your work across our website as well as news distribution applications and websites such as Yahoo Sports, Newsbreak, Pressreader, and more.
Pay
This is a commission role - pay is based on individual article performance. Commission is uncapped.
Qualifications
- Sports knowledge
- Excellent Writing and Communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently with little supervision
- Daily Slack activity and communication.
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial but is not required:
- Previous freelance or blog writing experience
- Working knowledge SEO best practices
- Understanding of social media and content distribution strategies
