Mastermind Astro is an astrology consulting service & community focused on using cosmic wisdom to help empower individuals to unlock karmic patterns & blessings within their chart. We also offer tarot, manifestation and lunar ceremonies and other metaphysical services.Mastermind is also launching a new brand in late 2026, and there will be additional opportunities to grow our new brand from the ground up.
About the Role
We're looking for a freelance Social Media Manager/Content Manager to help us grow our brand visibility, reach and engagement. The desired candidate will manage social strategy across Instagram and help us branch out across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Grow our brand and social presence across Instagram and other platforms as needed
- Focus on pushing IG shorts
- Reposting existing content (reels, posts, etc)
- Be on top of all social media trends as they keep evolving
- Work with the Founder of Mastermind on a content calendar aligned with brand voice and goals
- Assist with marketing tactics/campaigns to grow our email list
- Plan LinkedIn launch and manage that platform’s messaging
- Track performance and adjust strategy based on what's working
- Other Administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media accounts and growing an audience
- Strong short-form video content skills (filming, editing, trend awareness)
- Experience with Instagram and LinkedIn required; Facebook, TikTok and YouTube as well but secondary
- Comfortable working independently and adapting to ever changing needs from Mastermind’s Founder
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable - open to feedback
- Able to take initiative and anticipate next steps that may be asked of you
- Experience with Canva
- Basic technical/web content skills (editing on Wix)
- Experience with managing content on Mastermind’s internal storage systems (DropBox, Google Drive, other as needed)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- CMS experience and/or growing an email list
- Experience working with early-stage or founder-led brands
- Basic astrology knowledge is a nice to have
