Part-Time Freelance Kitchen Designer
Kitchen Krafters, a full-service kitchen, bath, and closet design studio in Ocean, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced part-time freelance kitchen designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing residential kitchens, preparing professional layouts and renderings, and working directly with homeowners, contractors, and interior designers.
Responsibilities include:
• Meeting with clients to understand their needs, style, and budget
• Creating functional and attractive kitchen designs
• Preparing floor plans, elevations, renderings, and cabinet specifications
• Revising designs based on client feedback
• Coordinating with our sales and project teams
• Reviewing measurements and helping ensure orders are accurate
Qualifications:
• Previous kitchen design experience required
• Proficiency with kitchen design software, preferably 2020 Design or a similar program
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry, appliances, countertops, and kitchen layouts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines
• Availability for occasional client meetings at our Ocean, NJ showroom
This is a flexible, part-time freelance opportunity with the potential for additional work as our business continues to grow. Compensation will be based on experience and the scope of each project.
