Social Media Manager (Freelance to Full-Time)

We’re a boutique social media marketing agency specializing in beauty, skincare, wellness, and dermatology. We’re looking for a creative, organized Social Media Manager to support one of our largest beauty clients, with the opportunity to work across additional client accounts as we grow.
This is a freelance, long-term role for someone who loves social media, has exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys balancing strategy with execution.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day social media for primarily one beauty brand, with opportunities to support additional clients
- Build monthly content calendars
- Write engaging captions tailored to each platform
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn as needed
- Monitor comments and messages and flag customer service issues
- Stay on top of trends and proactively pitch new content ideas
- Analyze performance and make recommendations based on results
- Coordinate with our creative team on content needs
- Assist with influencer coordination and campaign execution
- Participate in occasional client meetings
- Keep projects organized and moving on schedule
We’re Looking for Someone Who
- Has 2–5+ years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies
- Has experience in beauty, skincare, fashion, wellness, or luxury brands, preferred
- Is an excellent writer with strong copywriting skills
- Understands what makes content perform on Instagram and TikTok
- Has experience using scheduling platforms such as Metricool, Later, or Sprout
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Is proactive and enjoys bringing new ideas to the table
- Is comfortable receiving feedback and collaborating closely with a small team
- Lives in the Dallas area and able to come into an office 2-3 times per week
Bonus Points
- Experience with Meta Ads
- Familiarity with Shopify or Klaviyo
- Experience working with influencers and creators
- Basic Canva skills
- Understanding of social media analytics and reporting
- Experience in the dermatology, aesthetics, or beauty industries
Compensation
- Freelance contractor, 1099
- Approximately 20–30 hours per week to start, with potential for additional hours
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
