BGK Architects is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Manager to lead pursuit efforts and support strategic marketing initiatives for our growing architectural practice.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, creative professional who thrives in both strategic and hands-on roles. You will play a key role in helping BGK win new work by leading proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and marketing initiatives while owning efforts to improve the firm's marketing systems, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities
- Lead RFQ/RFP pursuits from kickoff through submission
- Track upcoming opportunities and support go/no-go discussions
- Develop pursuit strategies, messaging, and differentiators
- Coordinate with internal staff, consultants, and partners to gather content
- Write, edit, and format proposals, qualifications packages, and interview materials
- Maintain project sheets, resumes, pursuit data, and proposal resources
- Own the strategy, planning, and execution of award submissions, conferences, events, sponsorships, website content, social media, and marketing collateral to elevate BGK's brand and visibility
- Assist with client outreach, business development, and relationship-building activities
- Help improve marketing systems, templates, and organizational tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proposal, marketing, or business development experience within the AEC industry
- Experience leading public-sector RFQs/RFPs preferred
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Strong graphic design and page layout abilities
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with higher education, healthcare, civic, or public-sector clients is a plus
- Familiarity with Texas public procurement processes is beneficial
