Content Producer / Trend Scout (Part-Time, Remote)

Compensation:
You earn $15-25 for every brief of yours we turn into a video. Submit as many as you want; only used briefs are paid. If a video made from your brief performs exceptionally well, you get a $25-50 bonus on top. Paid bi-weekly via venmo/paypal.
About the Role:
I'm a content creator posting on Instagram and TikTok, and I need someone to live in the feed so I don't have to. You'll scout trending formats, sounds, hooks, and video ideas across both platforms, then package the best ones into short, actionable briefs I can pick up and film the same day.
You are the input side of the content machine. I handle filming, editing, and posting. You handle what we make and why it will work.
What You'll Do
- Spend time daily on Instagram Reels and TikTok tracking trending sounds, formats, hooks, and challenges relevant to my niche
- Deliver [3-5] content briefs per week. Each brief includes: the trend reference (link), the sound to use, a suggested hook or first 3 seconds, why it fits my audience, and how urgent it is.
- Flag trends early.
- Track what competitors and similar creators in the niche are doing that's working
- Keep a running idea bank organized in a shared doc
- Quick check-in meeting 1x per week, to align on what's working and what's coming up
What You Won't Do
- Filming, editing, or posting
- Community management or DMs
You're a Fit If
- You're chronically online in the best way. You see trends before they peak and can explain why something is blowing up
- You understand the difference between a trend that fits a creator's brand and one that doesn't
- You can write a clear, tight brief. Just what to film and why
- You're reliable on a weekly cadence without being managed
- Bonus: you've done short-form content research, social media management, or run your own account with real growth
