About the Role
The TikTok Specialist / Content Creator is responsible for leading Cozy Earth's TikTok strategy and producing engaging short-form video content that drives brand awareness, audience growth, and customer engagement. This role combines content strategy, video production, trend analysis, and creative storytelling to build a strong presence on TikTok.
The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, and capable of creating authentic, trend-driven content that aligns with the brand's voice.
Key Responsibilities
TikTok Strategy
- Develop and execute Cozy Earth's TikTok content strategy.
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Identify opportunities to expand the brand's presence on TikTok.
- Monitor platform updates and evolving content trends.
Content Creation
- Conceptualize, film, edit, and publish short-form video content.
- Produce engaging videos aligned with the company's brand identity.
- Create authentic, creative, and trend-driven content.
- Maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
Trend Monitoring
- Stay current with TikTok trends, viral sounds, and platform best practices.
- Quickly adapt trending content into brand-relevant campaigns.
- Identify emerging content opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
Content Development
- Build and expand recurring content series and branded content pillars.
- Develop creative storytelling concepts that resonate with target audiences.
- Continuously test and optimize new content formats.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Growth Creative, and Influencer teams.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns across social media.
- Collaborate on product launches and promotional initiatives.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor TikTok performance metrics.
- Analyze engagement, reach, and audience insights.
- Optimize content strategy based on data and performance trends.
- Recommend improvements to maximize content effectiveness.
On-Camera Participation
- Appear in videos when appropriate.
- Create authentic and relatable content that connects with audiences.
- Represent the brand professionally across digital platforms.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Contribute creative ideas that strengthen the company's social media presence.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing or growing a TikTok account (personal or business).
- Strong understanding of TikTok algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience creating short-form video content from concept to publication.
- Experience filming, editing, and producing social media videos.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) or eCommerce brands.
- Experience using professional video editing software.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital branding.
