Role Overview
The Volunteer Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in developing and executing ANOH's digital marketing strategy. Working closely with leadership, you will help build brand awareness, increase community engagement, promote programs and events, and create compelling content that inspires action.
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, social media enthusiast, and strategic thinker who understands how to leverage digital platforms to build relationships and drive meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Develop, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule aligned with organizational goals and campaigns.
- Monitor social media channels and assist with audience engagement through comments, messages, and interactions.
- Stay current on platform trends, best practices, and emerging social media opportunities.
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Create engaging graphics, videos, reels, stories, and promotional content that reflect ANOH's mission and values.
- Capture and share compelling stories that highlight the impact of peer support and community-based services.
- Assist in developing educational, inspirational, and awareness-focused content.
- Ensure all content aligns with ANOH's branding and messaging standards.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Development
- Help shape and refine ANOH's brand voice and digital identity.
- Contribute ideas for campaigns that increase awareness, volunteer recruitment, donor engagement, and client outreach.
- Support the development of marketing initiatives tied to events, fundraising efforts, awareness months, and program launches.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify target audiences and messaging strategies.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, audience growth, and conversions.
- Analyze the results and provide recommendations to improve content performance.
- Utilize platform analytics and insights to optimize campaigns and increase visibility.
- Apply knowledge of social media algorithms to maximize engagement and audience growth.
Collaboration & Organizational Support
- Work closely with the team and volunteers to promote programs, events, and organizational initiatives.
- Assist in creating digital and print marketing materials as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute creative marketing ideas.
- Support special projects that enhance community awareness and organizational growth.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media management, content creation, or a related field.
- Strong video editing and graphic design capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Understanding of social media algorithms, audience engagement strategies, and platform analytics.
- Knowledge of mission-driven marketing and nonprofit storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience helping organizations grow audiences and convert followers into customers, supporters, volunteers, or advocates.
- Experience in nonprofit, human services, behavioral health, peer support, community outreach, or social services settings.
- Familiarity with:
