Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, connected, innovative, and organized Marketing, Media & Public Relations Specialist to join our team. This role blends strategic marketing, social media management, content creation, and public relations to strengthen brand awareness and reputation. The ideal candidate combines creativity with analytical thinking and has a strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, ROI measurement, photography, and video production. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, media, and communications is required, with a strong background in social and digital media.
Content Creation & Brand Storytelling
- Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and website updates.
- Write engaging copy and publish high-quality content that reflects the brand.
- Create and edit videos and audio for social media and marketing initiatives.
- Capture professional photography and video during trade shows, events, product installations, and corporate activities.
- Produce short-form videos, interviews, testimonials, and educational content for social media.
- Edit photos and videos for digital campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
- Ensure all visual content aligns with our brand standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing products and marketing materials.
Social Media Management
- Manage the Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and other social media accounts for the company.
- Develop and execute social media strategies across all platforms, including emerging channels.
- Create and manage monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and company goals.
- Monitor community engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Identify trends and opportunities to increase audience growth and engagement.
Campaign & Event Management
- Develop and implement strategic marketing materials to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid and organic social media campaigns.
- Track campaign performance and provide recommendations based on ROI and key performance metrics.
- Collaborate on the planning and announcement of events such as product launches, press conferences, trade shows, and other key company events.
- Manage influencer and creator collaborations when appropriate.
- Collaborate with external agencies to develop special projects.
Public Relations & Media Relations
- Develop press releases, media kits, and corporate announcements.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and stakeholders to secure press coverage and partnerships.
- Coordinate product launches and company news with media outlets.
- Monitor brand mentions, media coverage, and traditional, social, and digital media competitive activity.
SEO & Digital Marketing
- Optimize social media and blog content using SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to improve website traffic and search rankings.
- Research keywords and industry trends to support content strategy.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and website content updates.
Analytics, Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Monitor and analyze metrics — including engagement, reach, website traffic, conversions, lead generation, and ROI — to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
- Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights, and use analytics to continuously improve content and campaign effectiveness.
- Analyze media performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the online shopping experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Stay updated on media trends, the competitive landscape, and best practices in marketing and public relations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field, or 3–5+ years of equivalent marketing experience.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms, campaigns, content creation, and ROI tracking.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing best practices.
- Photography, videography, and multimedia editing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling abilities.
- Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills with experience managing multiple deadlines and measuring campaign performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and social media/SEO tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
- Creative, results-oriented team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
