Our client, a leading marketing and communications agency in NYC, is seeking a Senior Designer to join their creative team. This role is ideal for a designer with a strong foundation in branding and digital design, exceptional visual craft, and a genuine enthusiasm for incorporating AI into the creative process.We're looking for someone whose portfolio showcases beautiful, modern work across brand identity systems, digital experiences, and marketing communications.
- Senior Designer (Brand + Digital)
- Location: Hybrid – New York City
- Type: Ongoing Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire
- Pay Rate: $65–70/hour
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling visual solutions across branding, digital, and marketing initiatives
- Design for websites, social media, email campaigns, presentations, and other digital channels
- Develop and evolve brand systems, visual identities, and design guidelines
- Partner with creative, strategy, and account teams to bring ideas from concept through execution
- Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance ideation, design exploration, and workflow efficiency
- Ensure all work is strategically aligned, visually sophisticated, and consistent with brand standards
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, visual design, or brand design
- Strong portfolio showcasing both branding and digital work
- Expert proficiency in Figma
- Experience building and working within brand systems
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling
- Experience using AI tools as part of the creative process
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agency experience
- Experience working across a variety of industries and brands
- Motion, prototyping, or interactive design experience is a plus
