Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Content Coordinator to support our firm's marketing and brand awareness efforts. This part-time role is ideal for a college student, recent graduate, or early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
The Social Media & Content Coordinator will assist with creating engaging content across organic and paid social media channels, capturing and editing video content, designing graphics, and helping execute campaigns that support the firm's growth and community presence.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Marketing team on a variety of projects including social media campaigns, podcast promotion, event coverage, community partnerships, and brand-building initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Assist with developing and maintaining a content calendar.
- Capture photo and video content at firm events, community events, and other marketing activities.
- Edit short-form videos for social media, paid advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Design social media graphics, story posts, reels, and other digital assets.
- Draft social media captions and assist with content publishing.
- Support paid social advertising campaigns through content creation and creative testing.
- Assist with podcast promotion, video clips, and content repurpose.
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop educational and brand-focused content.
- Help organize and maintain marketing assets including photos, videos, graphics, and templates.
- Assist with special marketing projects and events as needed.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media, content creation, digital marketing, and storytelling.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Basic video editing experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Comfortable interviewing others is a plus.
- Experience covering events, sports, campus organizations, student groups, or community activities is preferred.
- Familiarity with Texas A&M culture, college athletics, and community engagement is a plus.
