Jackson Dawson is seeking a project-based
Junior Copywriter to support creative initiatives across proposals, live events, digital content, and learning materials. This role is ideal for an early-career writer who is eager to develop their craft while contributing to a variety of client-facing deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing clear, engaging copy for internal communications and campaign materials (e.g., emails, web content, video scripts)
- Support the creation of content for proposals, live events, eLearning courses, websites, workbooks, and participant guides
- Collaborate with internal teams and account stakeholders to understand client messaging and audience needs
- Adapt tone and voice across different brands and platforms
- Revise, edit, and proofread content based on feedback
- Manage multiple assignments with guidance while meeting project deadlines
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and support execution of creative concepts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of copywriting, content, or internship experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and/or Keynote
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with basic writing and style guidelines (e.g., AP Style)
