Retail Production Designer (Freelance / Contract)
We are seeking a freelance Retail Production Designer to support the rapid development of an in-store end cap concept.
Details
- Remote, but candidates must be located in the U.S. and authorized to work without visa sponsorship
- Pay is dependent on experience, starts at $50/hr
- Immediate availability required
- Short-term freelance project, not expected to extend beyond this week
This project requires strong visual merchandising, retail rendering, and packaging presentation skills, with the ability to quickly translate creative direction into polished concept visuals.
Project Scope
- Develop end cap concept mock-ups and retail visualizations
- Create merchandising layouts featuring gift sets and individual products
- Design cohesive shelf presentation with unified color storytelling across brands
- Visualize bath and baby accessories within a retail environment
- Produce creative concept renders and sketches for presentation purposes
- Prepare final deliverables in PDF format
Key Requirements
- Ability to work within fast turnaround timelines (6–12 hour response capability preferred)
- Experience designing for Target retail environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of end cap layouts, merchandising flow, and retail presentation
- Ability to creatively interpret direction rather than execute exact production renders
- Experience sketching and visualizing products in retail display format
- Remote candidates welcome, any U.S. time zone
