Social Copywriter to join our high-performing team and support our client’s in-house social production. You will be responsible for defining how our client's ads marketing channels speak to users across every scroll, swipe, and tap. The ideal Social Copywriter is a platform-native wordsmith. This isn’t a role for traditional "ad-speak" or tech jargon. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes social culture, brings a human touch to our content, and understands that a caption is just as important as the visual it supports. They're a versatile "maker" who can pivot seamlessly from high-level brand storytelling to scroll-stopping social copy and compelling visual copy for social assets. They're an audience expert, ensuring every piece of content—from a static image to a deep-dive LinkedIn thought leadership piece—is punchy, polished, and perfectly tuned to both the platform’s algorithm and our specific channel audience. Lastly, they're a B2B storyteller who believes B2B social doesn't have to mean boring. They're passionate about "edutainment"—distilling complex marketing insights into digestible, witty, and engaging narratives that don't feel like "work" to read.
Responsibilities:
Social Copywriting & Creative Execution
- Platform-native writing: Craft "thumb-stopping" copy for captions, visual copy, and scripts across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube.
- Storyboarding: Work with stakeholders and social strategists to bring each post to life and execute visual copy for storyboards that designers can then bring to life.
- Brand guardian: Master and deploy our client's social tone and voice, ensuring all content is world class—human, clear, and optimistic.
- B2B simplification and “edutainment”: Prove that B2B doesn’t have to mean boring. Help take complex digital marketing insights and distill them into digestible, witty, and engaging social narratives that don’t feel like "work" to read.
Editorial integrity, Accessibility & Proofreading
- Proofreading: Act as the final line of defense for all studio output, proofreading every asset for grammar, tone, clarity, brand editorial guidelines, and platform-specific best practices.
- Accessibility: Draft descriptive and accurate alt-copy for all static assets, ensuring our content is inclusive and accessible to all users across every platform.
- Quality control: Ensure all copy meets brand standards while pushing the boundaries of creative wit.
- Optimization: Leverage social reporting to test copy variations, establish best practices, and continuously optimize for engagement.
Creative Collaboration and Trend Response
- Concepting: Partner with the head of studio and designers to brainstorm "social-first" concepts that leverage current trends, social best practices, and cultural moments.
- AI augmentation: Utilize Google’s generative ai tools to iterate on copy variations and scale personalized messaging.
- Feedback loop: Work closely with designers and editors to ensure the visual narrative and copy are working in perfect harmony.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in social-first copywriting, ideally within a creative agency or a high-growth tech brand.
- Diverse social portfolio: Evidence of your ability to write everything from professional B2B insights to high-engagement, "internet-native" humor.
- Campaign execution: A proven track record of executing copy for social media channels and creative campaigns for high-profile brands.
- Platform obsession: A genuine passion for social platforms and digital storytelling.
- Editorial collaboration: Experience working on a best-in-class social media editorial team, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- AI curiosity: Openness to using Google’s generative AI models to explore new ways of storytelling and creative production.
- Interpersonal communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational mastery: Excellent project management skills to execute campaigns and meet tight deadlines.
- Platform fluency: Deep, current knowledge of the "vibe" and technical constraints of linkedin, facebook, youtube, shorts, x, and instagram.
- Mastery of tone: The ability to move seamlessly between authoritative thought leadership and playful, conversational social commentary.
- Attention to detail: Near-obsessive proofreading skills; you catch the typos and tonal inconsistencies that others miss
- Manage navigate urgent creative requests with exceptional time management, ensuring agility without sacrificing quality or strategic intent.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- B2B or editorial experience: A background writing for digital marketing/advertising audiences or a background in journalism.

Compensation Range: $120K - $140K
