Role Summary
As a party supplies and seasonal retail brand serving mainstream U.S. customers. We are looking for a Social Media & Digital Content Specialist to create engaging social and digital content that brings party moments, seasonal celebrations, store experiences, and product inspiration to life.
This role will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and optimizing content across social media and digital channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, email, website, Google Business Profile, and paid media support. The ideal candidate understands U.S. consumer culture, party trends, seasonal retail, and short-form video storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day content planning and publishing across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other relevant social platforms.
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with RocParty’s seasonal retail calendar, including Halloween, Christmas, Easter, graduation season, birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, bachelorette parties, and other U.S. celebration moments.
- Create short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Stories, including product demos, store walkthroughs, party setup ideas, trend-based videos, DIY tips, new arrivals, and seasonal campaign content.
- Write clear, engaging, U.S.-market appropriate social captions, product copy, promotional content, email snippets, and digital campaign copy.
- Capture photo and video content in stores, including product displays, seasonal setups, balloon walls, themed party sections, customer-facing moments, and local store events.
- Support digital marketing needs by creating or coordinating content for website banners, landing pages, email campaigns, Google Business Profile updates, local store pages, and paid social ads.
- Monitor social media comments, DMs, customer feedback, and content performance; escalate customer service or brand reputation issues when needed.
- Track weekly and monthly content performance, including reach, engagement rate, follower growth, video views, saves, shares, click-throughs, and campaign performance.
- Research U.S. party trends, competitor content, seasonal retail campaigns, TikTok/Reels trends, and local event opportunities to inform content ideas.
- Maintain a digital asset library, including product photos, lifestyle images, videos, campaign materials, templates, and reusable seasonal content.
- Work closely with marketing, store operations, merchandising, and retail teams to ensure content reflects current promotions, product availability, store priorities, and brand standards.
- Coordinate with freelance photographers, videographers, designers, influencers, or agencies when needed.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in social media, digital content, content marketing, brand marketing, retail marketing, or consumer brand content.
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and/or Pinterest.
- Strong understanding of U.S. consumer culture, retail trends, seasonal shopping behavior, and celebration/party occasions.
- Strong English copywriting skills with the ability to write in a natural, engaging, consumer-facing brand voice.
- Hands-on content creation skills, including basic video shooting, editing, photo composition, and short-form storytelling.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Later, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, Google Business Profile, or similar platforms.
- Comfortable visiting retail stores to capture real-time content and work with store teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple campaigns and seasonal deadlines.
- Basic understanding of social media metrics and how to use performance data to improve content.
- Experience in retail, party supplies, seasonal products, lifestyle, events, home goods, toys, fashion, beauty, or consumer goods is strongly preferred.

Location
Bay Area, CA
This role may require regular visits to retail stores for content shooting.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
