Production Designer
Our SaaS client is seeking a
Freelance Production Designer to support its marketing team by producing polished, on-brand content assets at a high level of quality and speed. This role is focused on execution rather than concept development. The ideal candidate is a production-focused designer with experience in
B2B marketing environments, especially within SaaS, software, or other technology-driven organizations.
This contract will primarily support the creation of
white papers, eBooks, case studies, infographics, webinar assets, LinkedIn/social graphics, sales collateral, and demand generation campaign assets, with occasional work on product brochures, sell sheets, and presentation decks in Keynote or PowerPoint. The goal of this engagement is to expand content output, improve turnaround times, and reduce bottlenecks for the internal creative team.
The anticipated initial duration is
approximately 3 months, with potential for extension depending on business needs, available budget, and mutual fit. We are looking for someone who can begin as soon as possible and quickly ramp up after onboarding.
What You’ll Do
- Produce high-quality marketing assets within an established brand system.
- Create and refine long-form layouts including white papers, eBooks, case studies, and other content-heavy materials.
- Design infographics, webinar assets, LinkedIn/social graphics, and supporting visual assets for digital distribution.
- Develop sales collateral and demand generation campaign assets aligned to business and marketing goals.
- Occasionally create product brochures, sell sheets, and slide presentations.
- Execute work quickly and accurately without requiring net-new creative direction.
- Translate complex or technical source content into polished, engaging, easy-to-digest layouts.
- Help increase production capacity and streamline delivery across the design team.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–10 years of experience in production design, marketing design, visual design, content design, or similar execution-focused creative roles.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, software, technology, cybersecurity, IT, or similarly complex industries.
- Strong expertise in typography, layout, and long-form editorial design.
- Experience producing content-heavy marketing assets such as white papers, eBooks, case studies, webinar assets, social graphics, sales collateral, and campaign assets.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within established brand guidelines and creative systems.
- Proven ability to take source content such as Word documents, messaging frameworks, or draft copy and turn it into polished, professional marketing materials.
- Strong editorial judgment with a focus on clarity, hierarchy, readability, and consistency.
- Comfort handling dense or technical subject matter and making it accessible through design.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to asking questions, surfacing issues, and managing deadlines.
- Experience supporting fast-paced internal marketing teams or high-volume creative workflows.
- Experience partnering with product marketing and/or content marketing teams is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is required.
- Experience working with SharePoint, Microsoft OneDrive, and digital asset management systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Monday.com, and occasional asset creation platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of digital-first design principles, including onscreen readability and responsive content formatting.
Work Environment
- This is a fully remote opportunity, with only optional and infrequent office visits.
- Candidates may be located anywhere, provided they can align with relevant working hours.
- You’ll collaborate with a globally distributed design team across multiple regions.
