Join our client's dynamic team as a freelance video editor, where you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of engaging marketing, corporate, and educational video projects. This flexible role allows you to showcase your editing skills and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines. These projects are primarily remote, but candidates must be in the Chicago area for file and footage handoffs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with producers to transform raw footage into compelling video content.
- Ensure all edits meet brand and editorial standards, delivering polished results.
- Efficiently apply templates across series-based projects and manage multiple deadlines.
- Deliver initial cuts and revisions promptly, integrating feedback within a structured review process.
Skills
- Over five years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant interviews, educational content, multi-cam editing, and corporate samples.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage freelance scheduling independently.
- Reliable availability for projects with clear deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with After Effects and multi-camera editing.
- Comfortable working with multiple reviewers and efficiently incorporating feedback.
